Description

In a choice of 2 statement-making sizes, Cloud's sculptural contours gleam in silvery polished aluminum. With his own past in metalworking, Tom Dixon's piece is inspired by skilled artisans who still possess the vanishing skills. Each vessel is hammered and braised in India and every mark and indentation from the process is evident in the finished piece as a nod to its hand-workmanship. The organic form somewhat recalls seedpods and the vessel is dry-food safe as well as watertight and can be used for floral arrangements or as a cachepot.
