Still unnamed to this day, little did the designer of the remarkably light Isokon Stool—first seen during the late 1930s at a London cafe—know that it would become an iconic piece of furniture. Crafted in birch plywood in the UK, it’s an early exemplar of molded wood construction and it also pairs with the optional Isokon Tray to create a small side table.
